This Christmas we are hoping to put smiles on more children’s faces with the help of all of you. You may have heard of businesses, churches or K Love packing a shoebox of little Christmas gifts for a child in need, and now you have the opportunity to join in on this excitement. Here at St. Luke we have shoeboxes ready to be filled. If anyone is interested in this opportunity, the shoeboxes are available by the parish office entrance. In each box there will be suggestions as to how to pack your gift box along with a label for boy or girl and their age group. There is also an envelope attached to the “How to Pack Your Shoebox Gift.” There is a $9.00 shipping fee that if paid online, you and your family can track the package and see exactly where it goes. If you want to just fill a shoebox and bring it back here, the Mission Society team will be happy to pay for the shipping charges. Please remember no perishable or liquid items including toothpaste can be sent. All shoeboxes have to be brought to our shipping location the week of November 16th so please drop your shoebox off by Sunday, November 15th.
